Examination of the premises

By Roland Thomas

Slope of the land
1-Does the septic tank flow into the children's play area?
2-Does the rain flow into the garage?
3-During unusually heavy rain, would th building be susceptable to flooding due to additions such as landscaping walls?
4-Do current residents park over incoming water lines or is there any unusually green grass or wet spots over the water lines tha indicate a leak.
5-Are there any potentials for near-by drains to clog because of fallen trees?
6-Does the house face the evening sun?
7-Are ther trees to provide adequate shade from th morning and evening sun?
8-Ask if there may be any hazardous materials such as old televisions, insecticides etc. that may have been buried on the premises.
9-Is there adequate parking and "side parking" to allow cars to leave the garage without having to empty the drive?
10-Can you drive a car into the garage without driving onto th grass?
11- Is there adequate room in the "double car garage" to actually open car doors?
12-Is there an exit door from the garage to the outside and is it secured with a metal
"security door"?
