This is probably the most fun part of searching for a house.
The bad thing is that often you and I both find design flaws in inexpensive houses and mansions.
As we discuss different area of design, apply these test to the house you are considering buying or building.
One unnecessary problem I find is guest baths that do not offer privacy.
Many are located immediately off of the entrance, kitchen or eating area.
Can you see the kitchen from the front door?
Can every door be opened without blocking a passage?
Is there enough insulation in rooms that extend out from the main house and have three outside walls?
